Rachelle Ferrell is soon to release a new "live" CD with a few new songs entitled "Free, Black
and Live."
In the meantime, she has a beautiful song (recorded live) called "Nothing in the Middle" on a compilation CD called Soul Satisfaction,
in stores now, and also another single entitiled "Wounds in the Way" which can be found on the soundtrack of Tyler Perry's
New Movie "Family Reunion due out 2/24/06..

I remember at SOBs in NY, during one of her performances of "I Can Explain", I picked up on something. Something
wasn't right with Rachelle. After she finished the song, she just left the stage and went downstairs to the dressing room.
I don't know why, but security didn't stop me from going downstairs to see about Rachelle. When she saw me, she hugged me
so tight and then shared something with me that I will take to my grave. I just knew something wasn't right. Once you are
connected, you are connected.
One night I decided to go to DC to see Rachelle at Blues Alley. Little did I know, she was announcing that she was retiring
that night. It was her last show until further notice.
I will always have love for Rachelle and hope that she returns to live music.
The first pic below was taken backstage at the NJPAC 2003. Below that are just a few
pictures from a benefit show Rachelle Ferrell did at her former school, Conestoga High
School, Berwyn, PA....March 8, 2003.
This was a concert of music in its purest form. Only Rachelle, Russ (her baby brother),
piano and guitar. It couldn't get any better than that.
The children enjoyed themselves and still talk about their first concert experience.
Rachelle and Russ really took good care of them and invited all 7 of them up on the stage. . I guess you can tell
how much fun everyone was having by the pictures below. :-)
